Job Description
Primary Function: Serves as substitute for licensed staff in given building(s) when teachers are absent.
Responsible to: Building Principal.
Assigned Responsibilities:

Becomes familiar with building staff philosophy and expectancies for student behavior.
- Follow lesson plans provided by teacher.

Cooperates with building staff in achieving consistency in working with pupils.

Teaches all curriculum areas as assigned.
- May attend inservice meetings in long term assignments.
- May participate in team meetings in long term assignments.
- Maintains an orderly and supportive classroom environment in which students are actively participating and show respect for one another and for the teacher.
- Follows specified standards, policies, and procedures of the building and District.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Oregon Teaching License.
Available generally every day on an on-call basis.
Terms of Employment: On call, as needed.
